Prizes Awarded by the ELFO Foundation

Two electrician apprentices have achieved incredible results. They are Minik Aronsen from Paamiut, an apprentice at Carl Lynge ApS, and Mikaaleeraq Duurhus from Qaqortoq, an apprentice at Sydgrønlands El ApS.

Both apprentices were celebrated last week with the presentation of a prize of DKK 10,000 each from the ELFO Foundation. The celebrations took place at Sydgrønlands El's workshop in Qaqortoq, where CEO of Greenland Business Christian Keldsen presented the award, and at Carl Lynge's workshop in Nuuk, where Head of Secretariat Karsten Lyberth Klausen presented the award.

Both the two companies and Greenland Business are delighted with the great result and have encouraged the apprentices to go out and be role models to other young people who are about to embark on vocational training. After graduation, both will continue working in the companies where they trained.
